Your Role as a Groundskeeper & Make Ready/Punch Tech
As a Groundskeeper , you work closely with the Community Service Manager to complete tasks that ensure the community’s exterior areas, common spaces, and amenities meet safety, cleanliness, and appearance standards established by the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and take pride in maintaining landscaped areas, walkways, and shared spaces to create a clean, welcoming environment for residents and guests. Responsibilities include light common-area and amenity cleaning, trash and debris removal, and routine upkeep of outdoor areas. Responding promptly and courteously to community needs, identifying maintenance or cleanliness concerns, and taking appropriate action to address them within established quality and time standards are essential to the role.
As a Make Ready/Punch Tech
you work closely with the Community Service Manager in completing tasks that ensure the community meets safety, appearance, and operational standards established by the company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and experience in interior painting, ensuring high-quality finishes and maintaining the aesthetic standards of the property. Responding quickly and courteously to resident requests for maintenance service, troubleshooting the source difficulty, and taking appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within the quality and time standards established for the community are essential.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role:
1-3 years maintenance experience required (apartment maintenance experience preferred)
Proven experience as an in-house painter, preferably within the residential or apartment sector.
Have at least a high school education or equivalent certification.
Preferred you have expertise in the areas of HVAC, carpentry, dry wall, appliances, plumbing, and electrical repair
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Budget or basic business finance skills helpful
Refrigeration certification (type 2 or universal) or obtain in the first 90 days of employment
Valid driver’s license (free from major moving violations) and dependable transportation
CPO Certification (if required in the state and location applied)
Physical Requirements
Must be able to:
Use various hand tools and test equipment.
Bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time.
Push and pull up to 300 pounds on wheels.
Lift up to 100 pounds.
Climb ladders of up to 40 feet in height.
Use a hand-truck.
