Brief Description Sabert Fort Wayne is looking for a Process Technician to join our team! Night shift.
Role As our Process Technician you will play a key role in optimizing production processes and ensuring they adhere to quality standards and efficiency goals by analyzing data, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to enhance the overall operational performance of the plant. Your day-to-day will include, but is not limited to:
Ensuring centerline conditions are documented & current.
Providing technical support in the areas of tool qualifications, line trials, process improvement, troubleshooting, tool design improvements, and other areas as needed.
Ensuring all processes are kept in statistical process control and products conform to customer specifications.
Collecting, documenting, analyzing, and organizing data to support problem solving and decision making; using data to measure the results of the implemented solutions.
Assisting in creating SOPs consistent with company practices.
Completing daily reports of work performed on lines and products.
Evaluating performance of lines and products and developing plans to improve performance.
What Makes a Person Successful in This Position
Proven experience in similar roles.
We are open to consider current students enrolled in a degree or trade certification program focused on Engineering, Maintenance, or Manufacturing.
Excellent communication skills – both verbally and written.
Analytical, technical, problem solving, & troubleshooting skills.
Must have good attention to detail and follow-up.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of thermoforming and trim processes a plus.
Understanding of all auxiliary equipment a plus.
Schedule This is a full-time 12-hour Night Shift Position: 6:00pm - 6:00am on a 2-2-3 work schedule.
