Job Title: Machine Operator
Manage the daily operations of an assigned rotational molding machine and oven. This role involves operating and utilizing a crane to set molds and transfer them to the oven. Responsibilities include troubleshooting machines and ovens, setting up and changing over machinery, and ensuring all products meet operating and quality standards. Proficiency with hand and power tools is required.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the rotational molding machine and oven.
Operate and use crane to set molds and move them to the oven.
Troubleshoot machines and oven.
Conduct set-ups and changeovers of the machine.
Ensure operating and quality standards are met for all products produced in the assigned area.
Essential Skills
Experience with hand tools and power tools.
Proven experience in machine operation.
Expertise in setting up, changing over, and troubleshooting machines.
Mechanical aptitude and production knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with crane operation.
Mechanically inclined.
Work Environment Work in a clean environment that is not climate-controlled. Be prepared for high temperatures in the facility during summer due to ovens.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, TN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $24.00/hr.
