Shift:
1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, M-F
Pay Rate:
$19–$35/hour (based on experience)
Job Summary We are seeking skilled and dependable CNC Machinists and Molding Machine Operators to join our rubber manufacturing team in Portland, CT. Ideal candidates will have hands‑on experience in machine operation, quality inspection, and production support within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC or molding machines according to specifications
Load and unload materials and finished parts
Perform quality checks using measuring tools and visual inspection
Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or production schedules
Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Document production data and report any issues to supervisors
Follow all safety and company procedures
Qualifications
Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or Molding Machine Operator preferred
Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
