Responsibilities
Install and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements
Measure and cut pipes and tubing to the correct length and install them in the designated locations
Install and connect components such as compressors, motors, condensers, and evaporators
Test and troubleshoot systems to ensure proper functioning and make any necessary repairs or adjustments
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on job sites
Communicate with customers to provide excellent customer service and answer any questions they may have
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experience as an HVAC installer
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
