Electronics Bench Technician

The Electronics Bench Technician will be responsible for hands‑on testing, troubleshooting, supporting, and repairing our customer products.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshooting customers' products by a holistic approach to their system.
Assisting the RMA team in deciding if a product needs to be returned to EG4.
Assisting the technical support team in troubleshooting issues that appear to have a fault in the system.
Working with the Applications Marketing team to define all required information needed to troubleshoot and repair customer products effectively.
Working with the engineering team to test and evaluate new products to ensure they meet our customers' expectations.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, including parts used, procedures performed, and test results.
All other duties assigned.
Required Skills And Attributes
Ability to collaborate with our technical support and engineering teams.
Ability to utilize past experiences to innovate on troubleshooting customer issues in the field.
Ability to critically evaluate repairs to ensure the source of the problem.
Ability to devise better ways to test and measure solar equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety protocols when working with electronic equipment.
Qualifications
2 – 4 years of experience in power electronics or equivalent.
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in electronics or a related field is a plus.
Physical Requirements
This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, working with live electricity, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
