Job Summary Responsible for the building automation system (BAS) operation and optimization across the system. Accountable for commissioning, optimization, data management, training and development of software to achieve positive outcomes and utility reduction impacting the total cost of ownership year over year.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements Primary Responsibilities

Supports the f acilities e ngineering team to achieve operational excellence.

Achieves ongoing approval across multiple departments as it relates to the adoption and amendment for system building automation system ( BAS ) standards.

Manages the system utility report to validate efforts and inform l eadership.

Maintains the system database for historical analytics and Joint Commission required deliverables.

Monitors vendor performance and makes recommendations to l eadership based upon documented data.

Monitor s and maintain s the BAS across the region. Program s and recommission s the BAS across the region. Assists with the development and monitoring of BAS standards for the organization. Assists with reporting and inform leadership of energy star improvement opportunities.

Assists in creating and maintain in g database reporting.

Introduce s and develops new control stratagem for s ystem m onitoring .

Assist s in t raining s taff in operations of BAS solutions.

Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Completion of Technical Training Program

Experience

Five years' relevant experience

Physical Requirements

Constant standing and walking.

Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.

Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).

Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, kneeling, sitting, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

Occasional use of vision to judge distances and spatial relationships and to identify and distinguish colors.

Rare use of smell to detect/recognize odors.

Rare driving.
