ColonialWebb is looking for an Electrical Apprentice to join our Service team in Richmond!

What you will do:
Assist Electricians by performing electrical installation and repair operations to electrical systems and control systems
Assist Electricians by installing and repairing equipment such as relays, starters, switches, motors, motor control centers, switchgear, transformers, power distribution centers, heat tracing systems, and cable trays
Help determine conduit sizes, pull conductors, make terminations and install junction boxes
Support wiring and other electrical projects relative to retrofits, construction projects, installations, equipment replacements, and other service projects
Perform other duties such as, but not limited to, delivering parts and equipment, cleaning up work areas, and organizing work and vehicle storage areas
What we are looking for:
High school diploma or equivalent
One to two years’ experience in power and control wiring, and commercial electrical installations
One to two years’ experience in working on retrofits, construction projects, and installations for electrical and control systems
Completion, or in the process of completing, applicable trade school
Ability to work cooperatively under supervision
Possess entry level knowledge of NEC and applicable local codes and OSHA safety regulations
Must have a clean driving record and able to pass a drug screen and background check
