Location: Auburn Hills
Shifts needed: Night – Monday-Friday 4:00 p.m.–2:45 a.m.; Saturday 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. (Hours may vary depending on department).

Responsibilities
Set‑up and operate CNC machines to produce custom tooling/parts using various materials, ensuring adherence to customer specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and replace any tool heads as needed.
Load raw materials into CNC machines to produce parts.
Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.
Monitor machine operation to detect any problems or errors, and make recommendations.
Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, including appropriate personal protective equipment.
Inspect finished products using precision measuring equipment (calipers, gauges, and micrometers) to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.
Document and report any issues or irregularities that may arise during the machining process.
Collaborate with other machinists and team members to troubleshoot and solve production issues.
Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training and experience to increase productivity and efficiency.
Must be able to achieve quality and production goals.
Use hand tools, inspection tools, and machinery as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience with CNC machines, specifically 3‑ and 5‑axis.
Attention to detail, quality, and safety mindset.
Basic blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
Understanding of the relationship of speeds and feeds with various materials.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and computer skills.
Problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take direction and work as a team.
Must have the ability to operate industrial trucks and overhead cranes.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job – standing for long periods, lifting loads up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, twisting.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or valid permanent resident status is required – no sponsorship offered.
