Scope
The Assembler will participate in all aspects of the production assembly of high-performance camera robotic products. This role involves fitting and assembling electromechanical equipment and machines, including housings, motors, gears, actuators, PCBs, and cabling.
Job Description
Read and interpret blueprints, part lists, and technical drawings.
Inspect parts prior to assembly for flaws and imperfections.
Use calipers and micrometers to measure parts and verify tolerances.
Solder electrical components.
Fasten cables and wiring securely.
Apply correct torque specifications to fasteners.
Use Loctite products as required.
Position and fasten units to assemblies and subassemblies.
Grease or lubricate parts as instructed.
Identify assembly problems and notify the supervisor for resolution.
Tag or mark identifying information on parts.
Operate air/power hand tools and drill presses as necessary.
Test assemblies for mechanical reliability.
Inspect and test completed units.
Handle finished assemblies weighing between 40–75 lbs.
Maintain good verbal and written communication skills.
Profile
2+ years of electromechanical experience desired.
Technical certificate is a plus.
Experience in manufacturing and quality control.
Familiarity with mechanical inspection tools.
Knowledge of tooling and safety management.
Strong quality focus.
Ability to work with power tools.
Proactive and detail-oriented.
Soldering skills are a plus.
