We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated

Maintenance Technician

to support our facilities and equipment across multiple branch locations. This role involves installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on problem solver with strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Work independently and travel to Wikoff branch locations as needed

Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including three‑roll mills, mixers, HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, motors, and more

Perform preventative maintenance on facilities and machinery

Follow all safety procedures including lock‑out/tag‑out and Arc Flash Protection protocols

Fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders

Use electric meters, hand and power tools, and material handling equipment

Initiate corrective and preventative actions within scope of responsibility

Maintain clean and organized work areas and tools

Job Requirements:

Team player with ability to self‑initiate projects and work orders

Willingness to travel to other branch locations, sometimes on short notice

Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred

Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience required; 5+ years preferred

Associate’s degree or equivalent technical experience preferred

Mechanical aptitude for tasks such as motor replacement and plumbing repair

Experience with VFDs and PLCs preferred but not required

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime as needed

Familiarity with 5S or Lean manufacturing principles

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office

Ability to manage multiple tasks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs
