Fountain Service Technician
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8‑hour shift)
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus commissions
Office/Branch: Fort Myers, FL
Availability: Immediate
Willingness to travel: daily travel to various work sites.
Work remotely: no.
Responsibilities
Install, service, maintain, and build floating fountains and pond aeration equipment.
Use electrical, plumbing, shop, and irrigation skills to troubleshoot and repair a variety of fountain brands.
Assist in the assembly and installation of new units.
Maintain communication with Homeowners Associations, customers, vendors, trade professionals, golf courses, apartments, and other referral sources to grow company business.
Work, drive, and install in various weather conditions.
Commit to safety consistent with company policy.
Requirements
Ability to read and interpret operating procedures and safety rules.
Good time‑management, organizational, and communication skills.
Highly motivated, self‑driven, and capable of working independently.
Strong team player.
Comfortable speaking with customers about fountain and aeration needs.
Education and Experience
Mechanical and electrical knowledge: 1 year preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college helpful but not essential.
Physical Requirements
Physical strength and agility to safely operate equipment such as boats, all‑terrain vehicles, trucks, and other assigned equipment or vehicles outdoors, on or near water, including heavy vegetation and uneven terrain.
Ability to winch and launch a boat on uneven terrain, and move or carry a utility boat up to 50 ft to shoreline.
Ability to pull electrical wires/power cables, dig trenches, bury conduit, lift and install weighted tubing for aeration installations.
Ability to service fountain motors ranging from 50 to 100 lb, including flipping and lifting fountains.
Restrictions
Valid, clean driver’s license and must be accepted by the insurance company prior to employment.
Full‑time position only.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Background checks, motor‑vehicle record checks, and drug screening required.
