General Summary Has knowledge of and ability to perform inventory control functions safely. In accordance with established policies, procedures and standards, the technician distributes equipment, supplies, and instruments used in patient care. He/she cleans equipment as required, stickers supplies, and puts products into inventory. The technician processes emergency requests to ensure there are no stock-outs, provides excellent customer service to nursing and hospital staff, and distributes and stocks supplies to the clean supply rooms located in various nursing units.
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
