Position Summary The Certified Phlebotomist is knowledgeable and proficient in the drawing of patients of all groups and alerts the technologist as necessary for the proper processing of the specimens. Employee must work independently, and take direction from immediate supervisor.

Education

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.

Certifications

Certified Phlebotomist

Certified Medical Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant

EMT Certification

Initial Phlebotomy Certification or transcript demonstrating Phlebotomy program completion resulting in successful certification
