Shifts Available
1st Shift: (Cary Location) 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday‑Friday
2nd Shift: (Cary Location) 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday‑Friday
Required Skills
High School Diploma or GED preferred
1+ year of machine operator experience (preferred but not required)
2+ years doing complex mechanical work (e.g., disassembling cars or machines, replacing engines/transmissions) – required
Ability to be on feet and stand/walk for the entire shift
Strong basic math skills – add, subtract, divide, multiply to calculate footage and linear footage
Interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 inch (must pass pre‑employment ruler test)
Physically fit with no restrictions; lift up to 65 lbs, push, pull, maneuver large rolls of material; squat, bend, crouch, kneel; tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors
Previous ISO experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment preferred
Previous lamination, packaging or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but not required—WE WILL TRAIN
The Slitting Machine Operator slits material to support press, lamination, pouch departments, and customer roll‑stock business.
Technipaq is family‑owned and operated, serving the medical device and pharmaceutical packaging industry since 1984. We started as a small one‑machine company and now operate over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space across three sites with 180+ employees. Our facilities handle laminating, slitting, sheeting, die‑cutting, fabricating, and flexographic printing of pouches, lids, and roll stock in sizes ranging from foil, film, Tyvek to paper laminates.
