We are seeking a Flexographic Press Lead for the following shift in our Crystal Lake, IL facility:
Shift available: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm M-F
Required Skills
Must be at least 18 years of age and pass our pre-employment Reading and Ruler tests.
5+ years press-related work experience, with at least 1 year as a Press Lead or Supervisory position.
Should live close by, no more than 40 minute drive one way.
ERP experience a plus (EFI Radius preferred), vision system and Novaflow ink mixing technology experience a plus.
Ability to read and interpret measurements up to a 16th of an inch using a ruler or tape measure.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds without help.
Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness.
Activity: Active, Fingering, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, climbing, squatting, walking, lifting, pulling, bending. (This person is on their feet all of shift)
The Press Lead is a hands‑on operator and lead and is responsible for consistently producing quality printed material. The Press Lead also oversees the day‑to‑day tasks of the press and the press team operators, helpers, and ink technicians to meet customer and department demands. The Press Lead works under the supervision of the Plant Operations Manager to implement the processes, policies and procedures established by the company for the efficient and effective production of printed materials.

Technipaq is family owned and operated serving the medical device and pharmaceutical packaging industry since 1984. We started as a small one machine company and now operate over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space with 3 manufacturing and warehouse facilities and 180+ employees. Our manufacturing facilities perform the laminating, slitting, sheeting, die cutting, fabricating, and flexographic printing of pouches, lids and roll stock produced in a variety of sizes from foil, film, Tyvek and paper laminates.
