Industrial Maintenance Technician II - 2nd Shift

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to join a team of multi‑skilled technicians in a manufacturing facility in Waukesha, WI. Scheduled hours are Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Workdays and hours may vary based on critical business demand. Must be willing to work overtime when required. This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules. Responsibilities

Perform inspections and check sprockets, chains, motors, gearboxes, bearings and related mechanisms in an industrial production setting. Provide lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, and minor repairs to equipment. Gather data for predictive maintenance technologies, including oil analysis, vibration analysis, ultrasound analysis, and infrared thermography analysis. Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants. Perform corrective actions based on findings from predictive maintenance technologies. Inspect and receive new lubricant deliveries. Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled in CMMS. Perform predictive maintenance as scheduled in CMMS. Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance. Satisfy safety guidelines (job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout procedures) and wear required PPE. Operate hand tools, laptop computers and diagnostic hardware to perform work. Maintain a strict schedule while demonstrating flexibility in day‑to‑day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer. Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor. Minimum Requirements

Industrial maintenance experience 0–2 years. Additional Information

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre‑employment substance‑abuse test. This position may require a valid driver’s license. This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location. Physical Requirements

Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladders, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during a shift. Flexible to bend/stoop, squat, and perform repetitive tasks during a shift. Regularly kneel repetitively during a shift. Move in a 90° fashion repetitively during a shift. Stretch/reach repetitively during a shift. Walk extensively throughout the plant during a shift. Use a company/client approved utility knife. Differentiating colors pertaining to wire color‑coding. Perform repetitive wrist movements. Interact with all clients professionally and friendly, even under stress. Special Requirements

Wear steel‑toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other personal protective equipment as needed. Cope with job and work‑environment stressors to maintain acceptable performance. Other Attributes
