Compensation

Hours & pay with overtime potential:

4:30 PM–3:00 AM (Monday to Thursday) – $20–$23 per hour with 12% shift differential plus potential overtime; pay based on experience

Location: St. Cloud, Minnesota

Success Criteria To set‑up, operate and verify the quality of work on assigned machine(s) in a manner that consistently meets production standards and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Receive job assignments, instructions, and related documentation from supervisor or team lead; obtain tools, parts, and components as necessary.

Set‑up, operate, and verify work on assigned machine(s) to meet customer specification, quality requirements, and production standards.

Maintain a neat and orderly work area in compliance with 5S standards.

Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; notify supervisor or team lead of any safety issues.

Assist in training new operators as required.

Perform basic preventive maintenance as required.

Follow all standard operating procedures and notify supervisor or team lead of potential procedural improvements.

Assist in other work areas when workload permits.

Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co‑workers.

Direct the efforts of assigned assistants as needed.

Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly complete all relevant documentation (lean record keeping, production reports, time keeping).

Observe machine operation closely and notify supervisor or team lead immediately of malfunctions or maintenance needed.

Monitor product constantly to ensure quality standards are met and reject product that does not meet standards.

Machines may include Moulder, Tenoner, Woodeye, CNC, Profile Sander, Lathe, etc.

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent; coursework in machine tool technology or a related area preferred.

At least 1 year of CNC machining experience.

Basic maintenance knowledge; ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.

Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Knowledge of tooling.

Ability to perform repetitive work requiring high concentration.

Demonstrated ability to perform assigned job functions in a manner that meets quality requirements and production standards.

Works safely and keeps area clear of hazards.

Ability to bend and lift 50–100 pounds.

Prior forklift experience preferred.
