The Opportunity As a
Fiber Optic Assembly Technician , you'll play a critical role in building and testing precision components that support cutting‑edge technologies. What You Will Do
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production documentation with accuracy.
Prepare and inspect components for assembly, including cleaning, verification, fit‑checks, and grit blasting.
Cut, strip, clean, inspect, and handle fiber optic cables for termination.
Perform fiber optic terminations using specialized tools, epoxy procedures, crimping, and inspection.
Apply polishing techniques for fiber optic contacts, following precise sequences and inspection standards.
Conduct optical testing, including insertion loss and return loss measurements, and document results.
Communicate effectively bylistening, clarifying, and recording data with precision.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent (associate or technical training a plus).
2–3 years of complex cable assembly experience.
Ability to follow instructions, apply common sense, and read technical documents.
Basic math skills and strong organizational habits.
Excellent hand coordination and flexibility.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and pass a color‑blindness vision test.
Hours | Pay Range
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
$24.50 - $26.50/hour commensurate with experience
