$30.00/hr - $34.00/hr We are looking for Process Engineer for our Direct Client. Duration: 1 Year contract Shift:
Need to be flexible working all 3 shifts. Monday-Friday. Weekend work is required. Once fully trained, shift from 8 to 12 hours (6am-6pm). Summary:
The main function of a manufacturing process engineer is to direct the development and/or improvements of manufacturing processes and equipment. Job Responsibilities
Propose and evaluate manufacturing process and equipment for assigned areas. Meet plant goals and standards in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Coordinate the effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment in supporting SPQRC initiatives. Evaluate expenditures for processes and/or equipment. Provide technical assistance and training for assigned plant operations. Work closely with production and maintenance personnel and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects. Analyze tooling and equipment and select proper steps for solution. Communicate with internal and external business units. Support plants in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost goals. Support and implement the QS9000/ISO14001/(GMS) Global Manufacturing System compliance processes. Skills
Expert knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes. Basic knowledge of tooling processes. Basic knowledge of automotive industry processes. Knowledge in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge with Lotus Notes or other email communication tool. Ability to partner with senior management to analyze and solve issues. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skills. Seniority Level
