Position Summary Schwickert's Tecta America is looking for skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC-R Service Technicians to join our team. In this role, you'll perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on commercial HVAC-R systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC-R systems.
Perform start-up of installed systems.
Conduct regular maintenance and preventative services.
Ensure compliance with HVAC codes and company safety standards.
Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license required.
Technical school degree preferred, but not required.
3+ years of HVAC-R experience required.
EPA certification (or willingness to obtain within the first month).
NATE certification, DDC/Pneumatic controls, boiler license, or refrigeration background a plus.
Ability to work safely at heights and in varying temperatures.
Capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing stairs and ladders, and performing physical tasks.
Strong willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
Pay Range $30‑$45+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Physical Demands This role requires regular use of hands, talking, hearing, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, and kneeling. Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs. Additional Requirements This position requires pre‑employment screening, including drug testing, a criminal background check, and a DMV check.
