The Lead Senior Wind Hub Technician position requires local travel within the hub. This role is critical and active, maintaining optimal function and output at the wind site by working daily on turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repairs. The technician partners with the Site/Hub Manager to execute contract requirements and timelines and ensures alignment with GE excellence. Role Summary / Purpose

The Senior Wind Hub Technician requires local travel within the hub. The Senior Wind Hub Technician is essential in maintaining optimal function and output, working daily on turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repairs. The Senior Wind Hub Technician partners with the Site Lead and Manager to execute contract requirements and timelines and ensures alignment with GE Vernova excellence. Responsibilities

Work with site/hub leadership to execute contractual obligations per customer requirements and activities set forth daily, which include any portion of the electrical and mechanical equipment used in the GE wind turbine generator. Support all areas of site operations as directed by manager with minimal supervision, including daily schedules, planning, supporting tech development, overall site leadership and customer service. Apply extensive understanding of variable pitch & speed turbines and converter parts. Read, understand, and explain schematics, drawings, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations. Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety processes and regulations and all applicable compliance requirements. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch & variable speed turbines. Help in all areas of site operations as directed by manager with minimal supervision, observing all safety requirements. Effectively perform diagnostic analysis and generate plan for timely resolution. Document all work performed using computer-based service reporting procedures. Work with and respond to GE Vernova’s remote operations center when necessary. Mentor peers. Qualifications / Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Basic computer skills Ability to pass Technical Knowledge Assessment 4+ years of wind trouble-shooting experience and 1+ year EHS, SQC, Lead role; or 5+ years of wind trouble-shooting experience Additional Requirements

Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment Valid driver’s license Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time Handle repetitive weight – 50 lbs. and climb towers up to 300 feet daily Meet specified manufacturer weight limits not to exceed 300 lbs including required gear Ability and willingness to work in a range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities Effectively prioritize work according to contract obligations Initiative and ability to work without direct supervision Flexibility to work rotating shift schedules, on‑call per site needs, and occasional overnights Desired Characteristics

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a Technical, Electrical, or Electronics field from an accredited college or university Technical Certification in Wind Energy or Electrical / Electronic field Capability to work with a wide variety of personnel at all levels inside and outside the Wind Farm Wind turbine experience Experience with Microsoft Office Product Suite Electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic experience Experience using hydraulic power tools Experience with heavy equipment required for facility maintenance and working knowledge of crane and rigging requirements Additional Information
