Job Title: Drywall Installer
We are seeking skilled drywall installers and repair technicians responsible for the hands-on labor involved in hanging, finishing, and repairing drywall in commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
Read blueprints to determine layout and specifications.
Measure and mark drywall panels to fit designated areas.
Cut panels to size using hand or power tools.
Attach drywall to wall studs or ceiling joists using screws or nails.
Tape and seal seams between drywall panels to create a smooth surface.
Apply compound and sand joints to prepare for painting or finishing.
Repair damaged drywall, including patching holes, cracks, and water damage.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the job site.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in using tape measures, levels, and cutting tools.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Knowledge of safety procedures and building codes.
Physical stamina and strength to lift and install panels.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with interior and exterior painting, framing, and trim work.
Installation, drywall, and insulation expertise.
Familiarity with fiberglass, cellulose, spray foam, rigid foam, plaster repair, and Rockwool insulation.
Spray foam technician experience.
9 panel DT and BGC qualifications.

Work Environment Work hours are Monday to Friday with a 6:30 AM start time, meeting at the shop each morning. Company vehicles are used for transporting materials and employees to job sites. Our team currently consists of 15 employees, with crews varying between 2‑6 people depending on the job site. The majority of work is within 30 miles of the SE Madison shop, focusing on new builds and vacant multi‑family apartment complexes and duplexes.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
