Automotive Technician A
Join AAA The Auto Club Group as an Automotive Technician A. This full‑time, hourly position focuses on routine scheduled maintenance service on automobiles and trucks, as directed by a Manager or Service Advisor.
Responsibilities
Perform automotive repairs, adjustments, and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair orders.
Complete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, advanced repair and maintenance services, electrical repairs, diagnostic repairs, drivability diagnostics, etc.
Drive vehicles into service bay, prepare them for and completes digital vehicle inspection.
Test drive vehicles and prepare vehicle for delivery to customer after necessary repairs and maintenance are complete.
Keep the shop clean and organized to ensure a positive member / customer experience.
Work with, mentor and train less experienced Technicians.
Qualifications
High School diploma, GED, or Technical school certification.
Valid driver’s license.
5 years or more of experience repairing vehicles at a dealership or automotive center.
Knowledgeable about automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and technical resources; can independently perform a variety of basic repairs and maintenance.
Consistently demonstrate the proper use of equipment and tools and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Provide exceptional customer service and improve customer service scores.
Preferred Qualifications
ASE Certifications (A1 – A8) with Master Technician designation or equivalent.
ASE certification L1-Advanced Engine Performance Specialist.
State inspection certificate where applicable.
AC 609 Certification.

Monday – Friday, hours are 7:30am-6pm; Saturday, hours are 8am-4pm; Closed major holidays.
Work Environment
May experience loud noises and odors intermittently in the shop environment.
Standing, walking and normal physical mobility including reaching, grabbing, lifting and carrying automotive parts and equipment (averaging up to approximately 80 pounds in weight).
Must have own tools appropriate for their skill level for use in the center.
Must be able to work in the heat, as some locations do not have air conditioning. Fans present in all facilities.
Must be able to maintain working on your feet in a concrete facility for the entire work shift.
