Job Details Division: Skyline Steel LLC
Responsibilities
Weld structural steel parts as specified by drawings or prints.
Safely produce quality products in a timely manner.
Maintain housekeeping standards.
Obtain and maintain all required welding certifications.
Work any shift, including weekends and holidays as required.
Coordinate with other departments and work independently or collaboratively.
Pass a site‑specific weld test during the interview process.
Undergo background check, fitness for duty exam, and required drug screens.
Demonstrate safety leadership and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Welding certification from a college, technical, or trade school, or at least two years of welding experience in an industrial environment.
Preferences
Experience with air arc gouging and plasma torch usage.
Manufacturing or production environment experience.
Proficiency reading measuring devices (tape measures, gauges, micrometers).
Experience reading blueprints and welding symbols.
Understanding of common weld defects.
Experience operating a standard overhead crane.
Compensation Starting pay rate $21.19 per hour plus a weekly production bonus. Typical total annual pay around $78,000.
