Company Overview Systems, LLC, an affiliate of Chamberlain Group, is a U.S.-based manufacturer of loading dock equipment marketed under the Poweramp, DLM, and McGuire brands. All products are designed and produced in the USA using lean manufacturing techniques.

Position Overview This role is within Systems’ Manufacturing and Production group. A successful incumbent will work from specifications, blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols; lay out materials and components for welding by welders or robots; weld, assemble, test, and inspect components; prepare metal for welding; operate robotic welders; use measuring tools; operate cranes, hoists, lift tables, and lift trucks; report damages and unsafe conditions; and perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

Work from specifications, blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.

Lay out materials and components for welding.

Weld and assemble parts using hand‑held equipment, hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures with plate steel, sheet steel, structural steel, and tubing.

Test and inspect welded components to ensure they meet specifications.

Cut, grind, clean metal, and prepare for welding.

Load and operate robotic welders; troubleshoot basic programming issues and report to supervisor.

Use rulers, squares, templates, and gauges to take measurements.

Operate cranes, hoists, lift tables, and lift trucks.

Report damages on machines, maintain equipment, and report unsafe conditions.

Assist and work in related manufacturing areas.

Comply with health and safety guidelines.

Maintain confidentiality and professional knowledge.

Participate in team efforts and projects as needed.

Qualifications

No minimum education required; 2+ years of relevant work experience.

Prior experience with solid core wires and argon/oxygen welding gases.

Prior MIG welding of structural steel and plate.

Intermediate knowledge of MIG welding, handheld plasma machines, and cutting torches using steel cutting, acetylene, and other methods.

Experience working multiple stations (tackout, weld out, deck assembly, frame weld, EOD, truck restraints).

Attention to detail.

Ability to work within an ERP system.

Compensation & Benefits The pay range is $20.91 – $32.52 per hour. Base pay varies based on location, education, training, and experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) contribution, and eligibility for a short‑term incentive plan.
