Pay Range Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $20.00/hr
Reports to: Manufacturing Manager
Job Duties and Tasks
Operate assigned precision CNC machinery.
Receive process traveler, verify revisions match, and review completed prior operations on all paperwork.
Receive material, load pallets and robot as necessary.
Check parts for conformance according to inspection plan and blueprint using measuring instruments confidently.
Verify the correct program is running on the machine and that revisions match the traveler.
Red tag units that are out of specification (OOS) and submit to the Quality Manager.
Observe line clearance procedures.
Ensure work area, machine, tooling, and parts are cleaned regularly and free from excess oil; return tooling to proper area.
Maintain quality and acceptable production outputs.
Perform daily and routine preventive maintenance on assigned machine based on established standards, and record it.
Offset the machine to the blueprint for part conformance as needed.
Replace tooling at the machine when required.
Attend all assigned meetings.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Key Skills, Knowledge, & Competencies
One – Three years of machinist experience required, preferably within a medical device company.
Exposure to ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 as it relates to the job.
Time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
Knowledge of testing equipment, statistical methods, and control plans.
Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
High School or equivalent.
General knowledge of precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, ID/OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, plug and tread Go/No Go gauges).
Ability to read blueprints.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra.
Skilled in adapting to a changing work environment, competing demands, and handling frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Skilled in setting priorities that move projects efficiently, achieving customer and quality objectives.
Skilled in working independently with minimal direction.
Reasoning skills, including comparison, classification, analysis, and coordination while minimizing duplication.
