Basic Job Functions
Ensure safe work environment for themselves and their coworkers.
Ensure production of high‑quality product through proper Tunnel Furnace operation.
Ensure proper Tunnel Furnace tracking and coil marking/inventory.
Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the Tunnel Furnace and Banding area equipment.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months of Hot Rolling experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of and experience with the Tunnel Furnace & rolling process.
