Job Description
Receives soiled and contaminated instruments or equipment from surgery, anesthesia, and nursing units.
Prepares, cleans, and disinfects instruments and equipment appropriately.
Inspects all instruments and equipment for damages, malfunction, or unacceptable condition.
Prepares instruments and equipment for sterilization by verifying correct items and quantities.
Assures proper sterilization procedures are performed and the effectiveness of the sterilizing process.
Qualifications Associate, High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $15.58 - $24.92
