8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday)
We're seeking motivated individuals to join a close-knit team in Dane, WI on 1st shift. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build long‑term skills in a supportive, smaller‑team environment. They offer hands‑on training, tuition and trade‑school support, and an annual bonus!
Wireman Responsibilities
Perform wiring of switchgear, control panels and related assemblies following electrical schematics, blueprints and wiring diagrams
Route, cut, strip, terminate, label and secure wires according to specifications
Build and install components including breakers, relays, CTs/VTs, instrument panels and bus structures
Ensure product meets UL standards and internal quality requirements
Conduct point‑to‑point continuity checks to verify wiring accuracy
Perform basic electrical tests using multimeters and other standard tools
Identify and correct wiring errors, component issues or build discrepancies
Document work performed and report any nonconformances
Follow all electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements and lockout/tagout practices
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
Work closely with engineering, QA and production teams to resolve problems
Provide feedback for process improvements and design enhancements
Support a positive team‑oriented culture
Requirements for Wireman
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of electrical wiring or panel‑building experience OR technical school equivalent
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and bill of materials
Proficiency with electrical hand tools, crimpers, torque drivers and multimeters
Strong understanding of safe electrical practices
Experience with low‑ or medium‑voltage switchgear or industrial control panels
Knowledge of NEC, UL, or NEMA standards
Ability to troubleshoot wiring or assembly issues
Ability to stand, bend, reach and lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise
Ability to work overtime as needed to meet production schedules
