Greer Stop Nut in Nashville, TN has an immediate need for an experienced CNC Machine Operator on 2nd Shift. Candidates should have prior experience operating Swiss‑style multi‑spindle CNC machines or other similar CNC equipment.
Earn up to $28.00 per hour (based on prior experience).
Signing bonus and shift differential pay available.
At Greer Stop Nut, we manufacture specialty threaded locking fasteners used in the aerospace and nautical industries. The manufacturing process is carefully monitored to ensure the highest level of quality.
Schedule Start time is 2:30 PM and the shift ends at 11:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Overtime opportunities are often available on Saturdays or before and after the usual weekday shift. CNC Machine Operators often average 45–50 hours per week.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Operate assigned CNC machine(s) to manufacture parts to required specifications.
Use sample parts, blueprints, and schematics to determine the method and order of operations.
Protect machines and machined product by following processes and procedures such as part loading, machine control, and safe product handling.
Maintain product quality by monitoring and adjusting machine offsets as needed.
Perform and record in‑process inspection actions such as measuring and validating part features regarding dimensional tolerances and specifications.
Perform first article and buy‑off.
Perform setup operations, including setting up fixtures and cutting tools.
Perform inspection tasks of intermediate complexity interacting with drawings and advanced inspection tools.
Meet production demands as assigned.
Run production on multiple machines simultaneously (up to 3 machines).
Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Prior experience operating Swiss‑style CNC equipment or other similar devices used for machining metal parts.
A working knowledge of shop math, including tool geometry, positive and negative numbers, and basic geometry.
The ability to read basic prints and apply basic dimensional specifications to inspection processes.
Required Experience
At least two years of successful CNC machining duties prior to hire.
Level of Education
High School diploma or GED required.
