Position Purpose Support the Legal and Risk Management function by overseeing damage collections; managing contracts, certificates of insurance, leases, trademarks, and copyrights; and supporting bankruptcy and foreclosure matters. Develop and maintain efficient, costeffective legal processes while delivering strong internal customer service.

Duties/Responsibilities

Manage the full damage collections process, including communication with stakeholders, insurers, and claimants; negotiating settlements; and tracking payments for collections, restitution, and legal settlements.

Process and manage restitution payments and coordinate filing of claims with external counsel.

Oversee enterprise contract administration by processing, reviewing, editing, tracking, and managing contracts; performing firstlevel legal review; supporting negotiations; and coordinating with internal and external counsel and business stakeholders.

Respond to contractrelated inquiries and support document organization for major construction and IT projects.

Participate in implementing and managing workflows within the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.

Manage and maintain leases, trademarks, copyrights, and certificates of insurance, ensuring alignment with contracts and purchase orders.

Review insurance documentation for solar interconnection customers.

Support bankruptcy and foreclosure processes to ensure efficient and costeffective resolution.

Provide general legal support, including drafting correspondence and documents, gathering and analyzing information, and performing limited administrative tasks.

Assist corporate counsel with governance activities, corporate entity maintenance, resolutions, organizational charts, directors/officer lists, and legal policy updates.

Serve as a point of contact for legal questions and follow-up with business units.

Education and Experience

Paralegal certification is strongly preferred; relevant bachelor's degree considered.

Minimum five years of paralegal or equivalent experience in contracts and business transactions.

Combination of law firm and inhouse experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

Highly organized, detailoriented, and able to manage multiple priorities, including both timesensitive tasks and longterm projects.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional and customerfocused.

Knowledge of contract management, review, negotiation, collections, and insurance recovery processes.

Strong judgment, analytical skills, and ability to identify and resolve risks or issues.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within teams.

Skilled at building effective working relationships across varying levels of the organization.

Comfortable learning new legal operations technology; proficient with computer systems, databases, and Microsoft Office.
