As a Part-Time Hip-Hop Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching hip-hop dance classes to students ranging from basic to advanced levels. Your role will involve designing engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere, and preparing students for two exciting shows throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities
Teach hip-hop dance classes to students aged 8-15, covering a range of skill levels from basic to advanced. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students. Prepare students for two seasonal shows, including choreography, rehearsals, and performance readiness. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their skills and confidence. Qualifications
Previous teaching experience is essential. Experience in hip-hop dance is preferred but not essential. Ability to work with children and adolescents, adapting teaching methods to suit various learning styles. Strong organizational and communication skills. Enthusiastic, creative, and committed to fostering a love for dance in young students. Hours & Pay
