Electrical Technician
Pay Range: $24–$33/hr
Reports To: Electrical Project Manager
Travel: Mostly local with occasional short regional travel
Position Summary The Electrical Technician supports commercial and industrial electrical projects — service upgrades, panel/gear installs, lighting, general electrical maintenance, and EV or low-voltage work as needed. Working under supervision of Leads or Foremen, the technician handles conduit, wiring, terminations, minor troubleshooting, and assists with installations to meet NEC and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with conduit installation, wiring, panel/gear installs, terminations, and general electrical tasks under supervision.
Read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams, and one-lines.
Perform quality checks and basic testing (continuity, polarity, grounding).
Maintain daily logs, material tracking, and assist with pre-planning and staging.
Follow all safety procedures, use required PPE, and support site safety culture.
Help with site cleanup, tool/material maintenance, and basic housekeeping.
Occasionally assist under project scope changes or smaller maintenance calls (if needed).
Required / Preferred Qualifications
1–3 years general electrical experience (commercial preferred)
Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs, working in commercial building / jobsite environment, some work at heights using ladders or lifts
Ability to read basic one-lines and wiring diagrams
Reliable, safety-conscious, good communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow — possible cross-training with other divisions
Preferred (not required): OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, low-voltage certification or training
