Volunteering at a cafe offers a fantastic chance to engage with customers and learn about food service, volunteers help keep things running smoothly while developing valuable skill. 100% of the profits from our Beach Dunes Cafe goes to forwarding our mission.
Volunteers with the following skillset will be best suited for the opportunity:
Customer service and communication skills
Basic barista and food handling techniques
Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
Time management and multitasking abilities
Understanding of hygiene and safety standards in food service
Population Served: Families, Immigrants, Refugees or Ethnic Groups, LGBT (Lesbian, Gay,Bisexual,Transgender), Low-income communities, People with Disabilities, People with Health-based Concerns, Visitors & Travelers, Youth
Requirements
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+ , Minimum Age:18+
After Expressing interest in one or more dates and times you'd like to volunteer, your availability will be sent to the Opportunity Leader who will review and confirm when you should attend.
