Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine, PET, SPECT, and SPECT/CT procedures in compliance with departmental protocols. Follow quality control, quality assurance, radiation safety, and infection control procedures. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established guidelines. Verify correct patient identity and procedure prior to exams. Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and perform daily quality control checks. Ensure accurate image transfer and documentation within PACS and EMR systems. Educate patients and families on procedures and radiation safety before and after exams. Communicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and healthcare staff.
Requirements ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification required. AHA BLS certification required. 1 year of Nuclear Medicine or PET experience required.
