Job Description:

• The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the company to patients as part of their health routine or life-defining health decisions.
• The role is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing while following established practices and procedures.
• This position involves direct patient contact and requires creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and performing blood draws in a safe, accurate, and skillful manner.
• The role demonstrates leadership behaviors with a focus on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
• Keyboard and data entry experience.

Experience:

• Minimum of six months of phlebotomy experience required.
• One year or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Qualification And Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
