Join Our Dynamic Neonatology Team in Fort Myers, FL!
Pediatrix Medical Group is excited to invite applications for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner position at a state-of-the-art facility, the Golisano Children's Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida. This facility boasts a 70-bed, Level-III NICU and serves a vibrant health system with over 7,000 deliveries annually.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide attending coverage at our Level-III NICU.
- Perform high-risk delivery service coverage with in-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage.
- Manage well baby care under Level-I coverage with back-up from home if needed.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs.
- Participate in a culture of life-long learning and professional growth.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research opportunities.
- Work a minimum of 156 hours monthly, with options for varying shift lengths based on experience.
- Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing.
- NNP Board Certification (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications are not accepted).
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
- Active Florida Nursing License (or willingness to obtain).
- Recent NPDB Report (within the last 30-60 days).
- Must require visa support for J1 or H1B.
- DEA certification must be obtained prior to start.
- Master's Degree (minimum) and/or Doctorate in Nursing - Required
