Accounting Clerk Contract Opportunity

Robert Half is hiring for a detail-oriented and reliable accounting clerk for a contract opportunity with one of our valued clients. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions for a busy office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist in maintaining and updating financial records and ledgers.
• Reconcile bank statements and other account balances.
• Prepare invoices, process payments, and support billing procedures.
• Support month-end close and generate basic financial reports.
• Collaborate with accounting team to optimize workflows and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an accounting clerk or similar finance role.
• Working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
