Emergency Department Clinical Pharmacist . You'll be at the forefront of patient care in a 26-bed emergency department with Level III Trauma Center designation, supporting over
36,000 ED visits annually* — and playing a vital role in shaping the future of emergency medicine pharmacy services. Your Role: As an Emergency Department Clinical Pharmacist, you will: Provide direct pharmaceutical care, including medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and education Lead development and implementation of ED-specific medication protocols and quality initiatives Participate in emergency response such as code blue, trauma, stroke alerts, etc. Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents, contributing to clinical education and practice Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes in urgent and emergent care scenarios Participate on medical staff and hospital-wide committees to support patient safety and care excellence Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program [REQUIRED] Clinical or hospital pharmacy experience preferred [PREFERRED] Residency training preferred Kansas Pharmacist License or eligibility for licensure [HIGHLY PREFERRED] Emergency Department experience [PREFERRED]
