The Manager, ERP will lead a team responsible for supporting and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion cloud applications in a mission-driven nonprofit environment. Manager will be a hands-on leader with Oracle functional knowledge. They will ensure alignment between IT capabilities and business needs, mentor analysts, and promote best practices in Oracle, systems support, and business process optimization. This position will also lead the adoption and standardization of Agile methodologies within the analyst team, ensuring transparency, adaptability, and continuous delivery of value to internal stakeholders. Accountabilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional Oversight & Delivery
Partner with business units, product owners, and IT leadership to align business needs with technical capabilities. Lead the functional design and validation of Oracle system enhancements and integrations. Assists teams with detailed design work for projects of all levels of complexity. Assists and performs functional/business configurations aligned to documented requirements. Ensure the team proactively addresses system issues, change requests, and patch/application upgrades. Patch Application coordination and relevant information with Database Administrator (DBA) and technical team members.). Understands, communicates changes and additional functionality provided by version upgrades and their impact to Organization. Self-educates and maintains knowledge of trends, emerging technologies, and business proceses, and determines their potential application within Oracle roadmap. Experience with Oracle upgrades, enhancements, testing, and training.
Agile Methodology & Process Improvement
Lead the adoption and refinement of Agile and hybrid methodologies for analysis and delivery processes for the Oracle teams. Partners with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to support cross-functional Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Promote continuous improvement in analyst quality, collaboration, and delivery outcomes. Ensure requirements traceability, documentation clarity, and compliance with regulatory and IT standards (e.g., SDLC, HIPAA). Oversee team use of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and SharePoint for documentation and collaboration.
Team And Workforce Management
Hires, ensures training, supervises, and evaluates the performance of the analyst team and other business facing roles Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Oracle Functional Analysts across Finance, Supply Chain, HR and custom modules. Assign resources, prioritize initiatives, and ensure team members are aligned with departmental strategy and broader organizational objectives. Foster a high-performing team culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment. Nurtures relationships within the team, among peers, and with senior leadership across IT and the business Plans, directs, and manages technical service and consulting engagements as required Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge Of
Exposure to software-as-a-service (SaaS) implementations, balancing configuration vs. customization for scalability. Familiarity with business processes and working with software engineering and architecture team members to shape strategic systems design. Functional expertise/knowledge of systems environment, system administration and related tools as well as reporting applications and tools. Working knowledge of Oracle Applications. Working knowledge of some or all of the Oracle financial applications suite of products: Projects and/or Grants Module Order Management Advanced Pricing Inventory Fixed Assets Cash Management General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Purchasing
Ability To
Influence across diverse stakeholders and manage priorities in a complex environment. Excellent communication and facilitation abilities. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Skilled in developing business cases, process flows, and functional requirements Embodies leadership competencies, effective behavioral and performance standards and exhibits NMDP core values.
Education And/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field. However, upon evaluation, equivalent related experience and/or education may be substituted for the degree requirement. 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion functional role. Related experience in business analysis/ business architecture for other enterprise applications (SAP, Saleforce, etc.) may be considered. 0-2 years in a leadership, team lead, or managerial role within an IT or business applications team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)
Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle data structures preferred. Experience in healthcare or nonprofit setting. Understanding and experience with continuous deployment / DevOps tools and processes Willing to learn and use new technologies.
