Vice President of Business Development . This role is a key leadership position in a growing company known for setting the standard in legal service administration. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal industry relationships, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to lead high-impact business development initiatives across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business by promoting class action administration services to both plaintiff and defense attorneys nationwide. Manage and grow a pipeline of qualified leads to meet and exceed annual sales targets. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction. Conduct nationwide travel (up to 40%) for client meetings, conferences, and networking events. Leverage tools like Law360, Lex Machina, and Salesforce to identify, track, and convert opportunities. Represent the company at CLE panels, webinars, and legal industry events (optional but encouraged).
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, legal sales, or client-facing roles within professional services. Direct experience in the class action industry is strongly preferred. Familiarity with legal sales platforms and CRM systems. Proven success closing complex, relationship-driven sales deals. JD preferred (not required); attorneys seeking to transition from practice are welcome to apply. Strong communication and presentation skills; able to engage with attorneys and executives with credibility. Independent and self-motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively across remote teams.
Compensation & Benefits
