We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Software Engineer
with expertise in
Salesforce-based Telecom Order Management and Orchestration Systems . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing scalable and high-performing order lifecycle solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and sales to deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency and excellent customer experiences. Design and implement Salesforce-based order management and orchestration solutions, integrating with B/OSS systems. Lead the end-to-end architecture and development of service fulfillment and orchestration workflows. Customize and extend Salesforce components to support complex communication product catalogs, CPQ, and service order decomposition. Must be proficient in the following modules: Communications Cloud – B2B BSS Suite Communications Cloud Advanced – Sales and Service Field Service – Dispatcher Field Service – Field Technician Develop Apex classes, Lightning components, and Salesforce Flows to automate order lifecycle processes. Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and proper data mapping across Salesforce and integrated systems. Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews to ensure best practices in code quality and security. Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to support CI/CD processes, unit testing, and deployments. Maintain documentation of architecture, processes, and solutions in accordance with company standards. Stay current with industry trends and Salesforce platform updates. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. +5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce Communications Order Management. Salesforce Industries (Vlocity)
including OmniStudio, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and CPQ. Strong understanding of telecom service orchestration, order decomposition, and product catalog modeling. Proficiency in
Apex ,
Lightning Web Components ,
SOQL/SOSL , and Salesforce configuration. Familiarity with telecom B/OSS stack and APIs (e.g., TM Forum Open APIs, REST/SOAP integrations). Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce Platform Developer II or Vlocity/Salesforce Industries certifications.
