Alcor is hiring a Senior SDET (Level III) to architect, lead, and manage advanced automation testing across enterprise health systems, with a focus on ASC X12 270/271 transactions. You’ll guide junior team members, define strategic test approaches, and collaborate with DevOps, developers, and product teams to continuously improve quality within a CI/CD Agile pipeline. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the creation and execution of Test Strategies and Test Plans for complex systems. Review and assess business requirements and technical specifications for test coverage and risk. Architect scalable test automation frameworks across the testing pyramid (unit → performance). Develop, execute, and maintain automated scripts using a variety of modern tools and frameworks. Guide and mentor junior SDETs and QA engineers. Perform technical design using data flow diagrams, formal specifications, and Agile modeling techniques. Drive innovation by applying technical knowledge to formulate new tools and approaches to software testing. Originate code, debug complex systems, and implement modifications in legacy and in-progress systems. Design and lead validation, verification, and end-to-end system testing. Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and remove blockers. Collaborate across teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and delivery readiness. Support continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools like Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy, Docker, SonarQube, and Terraform. Minimum Qualifications:

8–10+ years of professional experience in SDET or software product development. Proven leadership in test planning and automation for ASC X12 270/271 transaction systems. Deep experience with automated testing of APIs, web applications, and performance/load testing. Strong technical foundation in TDD/BDD methodologies and modern testing frameworks. Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional Agile teams. Experience with large-scale Agile software delivery and SAFe methodologies. Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Proficiency with the full stack of tools including Sauce Labs, JMeter, TIBCO, UrbanCode Deploy. Certifications in Agile (ICP-ATA, ICP-TST, SAFe, CSM, AWS Solutions Architect). Demonstrated ability to drive automation maturity and continuous testing architecture at scale.
