This role requires a leader with a proven track record in fundraising, including major and principal gift cultivation, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with donors and foundations. The Executive Director will also be tasked with managing a skilled board of directors, overseeing financial operations, and fostering a collaborative, trust-based organizational culture. The ideal Executive Director for the company will have at least 15 years' professional experience in a managerial or leadership role, with a background in nonprofit management and a passion for wilderness and conservation. Key responsibilities include board management, financial leadership, team leadership, and partnership building with conservation organizations and government agencies. The candidate should possess high emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead change with confidence.
