Location: Chelmsford, MA

A short 27 miles from Boston, our office is centrally located just south of the confluence of US Route 3, Route 495, and the Lowell Connector, with a stop along the MBTA's Lowell bus route 15, and a short drive from the Lowell and Billerica commuter rail stops. This office is located along the developing Route 129 corridor in Chelmsford.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead and conduct hydraulic studies for bridge and culvert projects, including river, stream, and floodplain crossings

Perform detailed scour analyses for new and existing bridge structures and recommend appropriate scour protection measures

Utilize hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SRH-2D) and GIS‑based project mapping tools for project analysis and design

Prepare technical reports, calculations, maps, and documentation for regulatory submittals and project records

Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, including structural engineers, environmental scientists, and construction staff

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and compliance

Qualifications

BS or MS degree in civil or environmental engineering, or related field

PE Licensure

10+ years of relevant experience

Exceptional oral/ written communication skills

Salary is contingent on experience
