.**About the Opportunity**## About the OpportunityNortheastern University Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships Program is a two-year experiential program designed to advance lifelong learning and the education and training of Pharm.D. graduates. A key element of the program’s success is preparing Fellows to meet evolving workforce needs across various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry.

Fellows have the opportunity to work closely with our innovative biopharmaceutical industry partners, while engaging with Northeastern University faculty in professional and career development, teaching, service, and scholarly activities.

Nimble and dauntless, we push boundaries beyond what is thought to be possible and advance new therapies that have the potential to bring meaningful improvement to patients’ lives. ## ResponsibilitiesThe Medical Affairs fellowship at Zevra Therapeutics provides fellows with a comprehensive introduction to the structure, responsibilities, and impact of a Medical Affairs department, both within the organization and in its interactions with the broader healthcare community.During the fellowship, participants will work on diverse projects that deepen their knowledge of various disease areas, product data, and the core functions of Medical Affairs. Fellows will gain insight into industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices that guide activities such as scientific communications, healthcare professional and patient engagement, and the development of educational and promotional materials.The role will be built on a rotational model, allowing for experience in Scientific Communications/Publications, Medical Information, Medical Strategy under the Medical Director, and field engagements via Medical Science Liaisons. The fellow will also be involved in cross-functional opportunities with Legal and Compliance, Commercial, Market Access/HEOR, Patient Advocacy, and Regulatory Affairs.The position is based on-site in Boston, MA.JOB DUTIES * Support marketed products by assisting in medical strategy, scientific communications, and stakeholder engagement.* Develop and review scientific content for medical education, advisory boards, and external presentations.* Respond to medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals and patient advocacy groups in compliance with regulatory standards.* Assist in the creation and maintenance of medical affairs resources, including slide decks, FAQs, and training materials.* Participate in literature reviews and competitive intelligence to support evidence-based decision-making.* Contribute to publication planning and execution, including abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.* Support internal training initiatives for field medical teams and cross-functional partners.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial) to ensure alignment on medical objectives.* Attend key regional and national medical meetings.* Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and company policies.## Qualifications• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution or Doctor of Philosophy (in Life Sciences) from an accredited institution

• Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the State of Massachusetts

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong time management and leadership abilities

• Ability to work independently and take initiative on a variety of projects at both the industry site and Northeastern
