The Horticulture Laborer is responsible for providing essential assistance to the horticulture team and supporting various areas of the resort properties to enhance their beauty and integrity.**THE STARTING RATE:** $19.47 hourly
**THE DAY-TO-DAY:*** Collecting/carrying required parts materials and equipment to designated work areas; assisting with office, furniture and casino equipment moves, and with demolition and clean up on construction projects* Pick up parts and supplies from vendors, keep the property maintenance department warehouse clean and orderly* Responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintaining logbooks* Operate motorized/power equipment; skyjack, forklift, scissor lift, jackhammer, and other heavy machinery; fuel and service engineering vehicles; maintain inventory of keys and tools in the Engineering Tool Room* Work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner* Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise the Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property* Maintain constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention; able to wear/use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.)**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:*** Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays is required**THE PERKS & BENEFITS:*** Competitive and comprehensive health benefits as well as wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally* Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more* Free meals in our employee dining room* Free parking on and off shift* Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community**VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:**Are you ready to **JOIN THE SHOW**At MGM Resorts, we exist to entertain the human race and provide an unforgettable escape.
