270441Las Vegas, Nevada**The SHOW comes alive at MGM Resorts International****THE JOB:**As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service by assisting guests with transportation and ensuring a safe, friendly environment for both employees and visitors. Your responsibilities include driving assigned vehicles, running errands for VIP guests, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of the local area, all while adhering to company policies and local regulations.
**THE STARTING RATE:** $13.35 hourly + tips
**THE DAY-TO-DAY:*** Drive vehicle assigned by dispatch, includes picking up and dropping off guests as assigned* Run various types of errands for VIP guests including picking up shopping items for guests* Answer calls from dispatch and management on radio* Maintain a strong working knowledge of the company’s area and hotels, golf courses, and restaurants as well as other areas outside the city limits; including using magazines, guides and bulletins to keep up with the ever‐changing city demographics* Log and report all necessary repair or maintenance on the vehicle report sheet at the end of their shift* Keep vehicle up to par at all times, including maintaining cleanliness of interior and exterior of vehicle, and returning vehicle with 3⁄4 tank of fuel at the end of the shift* Notify a supervisor immediately of any safety/maintenance issues with their assigned vehicle* Keep Dispatchers informed of location at all times* Adhere to the policies and procedures of the Front Services and Transportation Department**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:*** One (1) year of customer service experience preferred* Six (6) months of experience with two-way radios preferred* Two (2) years’ experience driving a limo preferred* Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred* Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays preferred**THE PERKS & BENEFITS:*** Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally* Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more* Free meals in our employee dining room* Free parking on and off shift* Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)* Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community**VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:**Are you ready to **JOIN THE SHOW**At MGM Resorts, we exist to entertain the human race and provide an unforgettable escape.
