Integra Design Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary architecture and engineering projects from conceptual design through construction closeout. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and client expectations are met while coordinating communication across internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders. Additionally, the Project Manager supports business development, risk management, and firmwide process improvement.
The ideal candidate should be an initiative-taking individual with a positive attitude, quality, and time oriented with strong organizational skills. This position will work closely with senior staff, consultants and clients requiring effective verbal and written communication, as well as presentation andinterpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery
Manage multiple A/E projects simultaneously, overseeing all phases including planning, design, documentation, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
Define project scope, deliverables, work plans, and resource needs in alignment with client goals and firm standards.
Lead internal project team meetings, set expectations, and ensure assignment and accountability of tasks.
Maintain quality assurance through enforcing Integra’s Quality Program and coordinating regular reviews of drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as primary client contact, building long-term relationships and ensuring high client satisfaction.
Facilitate communication among clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Present project updates, design concepts, and technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Budgeting & Scheduling
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and fee proposals.
Track project financial performance, proactively identifying risks, overruns, and corrective actions.
Coordinate staffing plans with discipline leads and resource managers.
Risk & Contract Management
Support contract development, negotiation, and compliance with AIA and engineering industry standards.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, building codes, and quality assurance processes.
Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
Manage subcontractor agreements
Construction Administration
Conduct site visits, review submittals and RFIs, issue field reports, and support resolution of construction issues.
Collaborate with contractors to ensure design intent is executed and construction documents are followed.
Participate in project closeout, punch lists, and post-occupancy reviews.
Business Development & Firm Contribution
Prepare proposal content, schedules, and level-of-effort estimates for new pursuits.
Assist with interviews, presentations, and client strategy.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to best practices, standards, and process improvement.
Education & Experience
Professional degree in Architecture or Engineering
5–10+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, or construction project management.
Professional licensure (RA or PE)
PMP preferred but not required
Experience in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) preferred but not required
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of the A/E design process, construction methods, and building systems.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, and Smartsheet).
Familiarity with industry design software (Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam) is a plus.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
